FRED. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis offers a comprehensive and easy to use website that allows you to download, graph, and track 55,000 economic time series from 44 sources. This is a terrific site and even includes an excel add-in that allows you to download data directly to MS Excel. It is very slick.
